Job Description
Our Data Warehouse and Database Architects are responsible for developing, assessing and tuning technology architectures to support distributed database and data warehouse infrastructures and application systems. Our consultants are experienced in relational and multi-dimensional DBMSs and Data Extraction, Cleansing, Transformation, and Mining technologies as well as analytic, querying and Reporting technologies.
Requirements
Candidates must have played lead roles in enterprise data warehouse and distributed database projects. Knowledge of a wide variety of integration systems and technologies is essential. Data Architects
Job Description
Our Data Architects are responsible for developing and implementing data management strategies, architecture, standards, and best practices for our financial services clients. Evaluate and update financial data models to satisfy business needs. Create logical models for reference data, data warehouses, master data and operational data stores. Develop data related standards, governance principles and guidelines as well as meta data management strategies and solutions. Provide guidance to technology team members in logical models to and physical.
Requirements
The role requires intuitive knowledge of investment banking business processes, applications, data models, organizational structures and data flow processes. Candidates must have played a lead role in creation of enterprise data architecture that may have included logical data models, attribution, data governance, policies and standards, data quality management processes, meta data architecture, repositories and services, financial services related operational and reference data models. Some experience is required with investment banking processes including trade processing – front office, middle office and/or back office, credit, market and/or operational Risk management, compliance and regulatory reporting. Knowledge of one or more financial data models including Golden source, Infinity, etc is a big plus. Experience with market data or other industry feeds from vendors including Reuters, Bloomberg, etc. is preferred.

Our Integration Architects lead and guide our teams in delivering architecture, design, development and deployment of enterprise integration architecture for our financial services clients. The role requires hands-on skills in one or more toolsets for implementing EDA, SOA, BPM, and Rules Engines
Requirements
Candidates will have a minimum of 13 years of experience in designing, implementing, and developing SOA architectures as well as setting and enforcing enterprise wide integration standards and frameworks. The candidate must be technically strong with with one or more J2EE, EJBs, Struts, XSD, XML, UML, JBoss, Apache, Cold Fusion, Eclipse. Job Description
Our Messaging Architects design, implement, and deploy enterprise wide message broker/bus architectures and frameworks. Develop information and object models as well as message structures to support application and enterprise integration efforts. Design adapters in order to integrate business objects for message-oriented middleware. Perform tool selection and evaluation of current tool sets. Provide guidance in developing message repositories and vocabulary management processes.
Requirements

Experience with one or more financial systems from Sungard (Adaptive, Fame), Iona, Charles River, Thompson financial, Advent, Mantas or INDATA is preferred.

Senior Data Analysts – Financial Services
Job Description
Our Senior Data Analysts have deep understanding of financial data and processes like equity trading, risk exposure calculation, etc. Responsibilities include data analysis for new systems, data profiling, classification and clustering using vendor tools or custom programs. Developing MIS and/or client facing reports based on trading data, such as transaction cost analysis, trading profit analysis, flow analysis etc.
Requirements
The right candidate will have over 13 years of experience in the analysis, design and implementation of large-scale database systems. A broad base of business area expertise in the banking and securities industry is extremely valuable. Extensive experience with information architecture, data architecture development, data analysis, data modeling and data warehousing is what we are looking for. Project lead/manager experience along with knowledge of a variety of development, query and case tools is desired. Statistics background and/or data mining experience is preferred.
